       Most people think of the Apollo program as a triumph of history, science, and national ambition. They picture rockets, astronauts, mission control, and the first footsteps on the Moon. What they usually do not think about is how the Apollo program still shows up in everyday life through the gadgets we use constantly. But it does. Now, to be accurate, NASA did not directly invent every modern consumer device. Technology does not move forward in a straight line, and no major gadget comes from a single invention alone.
